Opting for insurance while renting equipments

Most shops offer you the damage ski insurance with ski rentals for a few extra dollars per day. You may think that it is not required to pay this extra cost, but it can pay off if you encounter some unexpected rocks on the slope that damage your skis. Ski repair is expensive and a deep scratch or gouge in your ski could cost a hundred dollars or more to repair, so it would be a good option to have insurance.

Renting individually or as a package

Shops offer the options of renting items individually or as a package. The package is good option if you need all the equipments. If you have your own boots or skis, then you should rent just what you need.

There are many incredible places to ski but Austria stands out for the number and quality of the ski resorts.
